INVITATION TO APPLY FOR THE 2025/26 ACADEMIC SESSION AND THE 20TH EDITION OF THE SAMUEL ADELEYE AGBEDE SCHOLARSHIP AND BURSARY AWARDS

The Prince Samuel Adeleye Agbede Scholarship and Bursary Awards Foundation is a duly registered Non-Profit Organization (NGO) with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
2. The Application is open to interested, eligible and talented but FINANCIALLY CHALLENGED indigenes of IGBARA-OKE AND IKOTA COMMUNITIES of Ifedore Local Government, Ondo State, who are currently in Tertiary Institutions OR those who just secured admission for the 2025/26 Academic Session in recognized Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.
3. All applicants are required to complete the forms online.
4. Preference will be given to duly registered students undergoing studies in Quantity Surveying, Urban and Regional Planning, Medicine, Engineering and Sciences. However, students in Social Sciences and Arts may be considered.
5. Successful candidates will be informed via e-mails, WhatsApp and / SMS messages.
6. The date of the Award ceremony shall be communicated to successful candidates.
7. THIS WILL BE THE THIRD POSTHUMOUS AWARD AFTER THE DEMISE OF THE FOUNDER AND SPONSOR DANSAAKI LT.COL (RTD) SAMUEL ADELEYE AGBEDE.

You must have obtained your reference and scan them ready for upload before commencing with the filling of the application online. (One of the two referees should preferably be your Head of Department/Lecturer). The reference letter must address how long the referee has known the applicant, in what capacity, what they can say about the applicant, the signature of the referee, the date of the reference letter, the school name/occupation and address of the referee, the referee’s telephone number, and the relationship of the referee to the applicant.
(b) The deadline for the submission of duly completed Application forms and uploading of all required documents is 20th January, 2026.
(c) Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to take an aptitude test and/or oral interview
(d) The decision of the Governing Council of the Foundation shall be final
(e) The Application form is FREE
(f) The current value of the Scholarship is N75,000:00 per academic session and the scholarship is for the duration of the successful candidates’ degree programme subject to a good academic performance by maintaining consistently a CGPA NOT BELOW 2.75 on a grade point of 5.0
