Feyisetan Leo-Olagbaye is from Igbara-Oke, Ifedore Local Government, Ondo State, Nigeria. She completed her undergraduate and master’s degree at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria and she is currently undertaking a PhD study. Feyisetan is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) and a fully registered member of the Quantity Surveyors’ Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN).
Within the past few years, Feyisetan has practiced Quantity Surveying at both consulting and contracting organizations. She later joined the Physical Planning Unit, University of Ibadan, Nigeria and moved to the Department of Quantity Surveying as an academic. During this period, she has contributed to Quantity Surveying pre-contract and post-contract services on a wide range of construction projects. She has also convened, delivered lectures and coordinated university courses at different academic sessions. She has been privileged to attract some scholarships and grants including the Colonel Agbede Scholarship for undergraduate students. Feyisetan has also won several other laurels which include ‘Best Undergraduate dissertation award’ and ‘Overall Best Female student’ at the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors’ professional examination in 2017.
Feyisetan has developed a huge interest in discussions and research on sustainability issues in the construction industry and hopes to make a global impact in this area and many more. Alongside her schooling and professional practice, Feyisetan has served and still serving in different capacities. She is a Pastor at Kingsword Ministries International and the Oyo State Coordinator, Young Quantity Surveyors’ forum.
